Dash for the Splash Fun Run

If you are going to be in Branson on June 6th, then you've got a great opportunity to get some exercise, have some fun at White Water for a low price, and benefit a great charity...all at the same time.

How can I do this, you may ask. The answer is by participating in the Dash for the Splash 5k or 10k fun run. This event benefits Caring People, a Christian charity based in Branson which focuses on helping single mothers.

Today is the last day to sign up at the pre-registration fees ($25 for adults and $60 for teams of up to four), but you can still register up until the event with fees of $30 for adults and $70 for teams of up to four.

Registrants get:
  • A One-Day Pass for Whitewater on June 6th so you can cool off and relax after the fun run
  • A Short Sleeved T-Shirt
  • Bib Number
  • A Goodie Bag
The 5K route runs a loop around Factory Merchants (the red roof mall) which you must complete twice and the 10k route, for the ambitious among you, loops down Green Mountain Drive. Both end at White Water.

If you were planning a trip to White Water sometime in June, I'd consider participating in this event. You'd be saving yourself some money, getting some nice fresh air & exercise, and most importantly contributing to a wonderful cause.

However, registration is limited to 1,000 people so if you'd like to participate make sure to sign up online or in person by stopping by one of the Ridge Runner Sports stores in Springfield.

Thanks for reading!
