This weekend (May 15-17) the 36th Annual Plumb Nellie Days Arts and Crafts Festival will fill Historic Downtown Branson with traditional arts & crafts, live music, and entertainment. In addition to the juried arts & crafts contests, there will even be an Outrageous Dog Show on Saturday. If you want to enter your pooch in the contests you will have to pay the $5 entry fee but there is no cost to walk around and enjoy all the other festivities. For more information on this long-running festival visit the Downtown Branson Main Street Association website.
This upcoming weekend in Branson is an especially great one for folks who are thrifty and/or really enjoy traditional Ozarks activities. Without spending a dime for admission, you can go enjoy both this event and the Bob Walsh Memorial Fiddle Festival. Hopefully you get a chance to enjoy these two great, free events.
