Armed Forces Day in Branson

One of the things I love about Branson is how almost all shows and attractions take the time to give our veterans the recognition and appreciation they so richly deserve. This occurs year-round, but Branson also does a great job of observing veterans' holidays. One of those is coming up this Saturday: Armed Forces Day.

The Branson Veterans Task Force (which is a great source for learning about the lodging, dining, and entertainment discounts available to veterans) is observing Armed Forces Day with an event at the Veterans Memorial Museum (which I can strongly recommend). This event is from 11-2 and is open to the public. All veterans will receive a free picnic lunch and buy one get one free admission to the museum. For non-veterans, this is a great opportunity to remember the sacrifices of our veterans and thank the many who will be there.

May God Bless all those who have served or continue to serve our country.
