While this is a Branson Travel blog, I like to also discuss relevant events that happen in the surrounding area. On that note, Springfield has some significant upcoming concerts that I thought were worthy of a post.
The biggest act which will soon be appearing in Springfield is the Eagles. They will be opening JQH Arena (Missouri State University's brand new basketball arena) on November 13 at 8 PM. For more information click here.
Also, Juanita K. Hammons (also at Missouri State University) has a good season again this year. Gordon Lightfoot will be there this upcoming Saturday at 8 PM, so anyone in the area wanting to hear the tragic story of the Edmund Fitzgerald told in song form may want to consider into Springfield
