News: Grounbreaking for major Hollister Resort and Development

The groundbreaking for the "Wilderness in the Ozarks" resort in Hollister occurred yesterday. In addition to the resort there will be a 7,500 seat multi-use arena as well as an entertainment complex with plans to include a cinema, bowling alley, as well as shops and restaurants. I'm particularly excited about the arena which could house a minor league hockey team and hast the potential to be a great venue for concerts by groups on tour. The fact that this development will be located just off of highway 65 is also nice because it will be easily accessible from Branson. Coverage of the groundbreaking can be found here and here.
